There is always a need for additional supplies for Kanyenyeva Orphan Care Ministry (KOCM). If you would like to host a fundraiser in your community, please let us know what you would like to raise money for, when you would like to host your event and how you plan to raise the money.
The board of MOCP will vote on your proposal. If your event is accepted as a sanctioned MOCP fundraiser, we will help by being a resource for information and supplying our logo to be used in advertisements and information about your event.
If you feel a strong desire to host a fundraiser but aren’t sure how or for what purpose, let us know and we can help you brainstorm different ideas.
Possible purposes are:
- blankets for the orphans
- school supplies
- scholarships
- infrastructure, such as
- a house for a watchman and visitors
- a school
- a clinic
Possible fund raisers are:
- coin drive
- a walk-a-thon
- an informational dinner
- an auction with donated goods
- a rummage sale with donated goods
- sell donated food, such as homemade pies
