A grant from the North American Lutheran Church allowed Kanyenyeva Ministries to build a Maize Mill.
The grant provided funds to build a dedicated building at the project and install a diesel powered mill the grinds the corn into flour. It provides the ability for the feeding project to mill the 100 pounds of corn flour required each day to provide lunch for the 800 to 900 children. It also allows the local villagers to process their maize without having to travel to a distant village.
